Riding lessons

We start all riders in a half hour private lesson.

These lessons include a half hour grooming and tacking in the barn with a helper available for assistance, and then a half hour private riding lesson.

The private lessons are $60 each.

We offer riding lessons from age 8 and up Beginner to Advanced.

Our lessons are geared around a relaxed riding environment with the goal of each student joining a group lesson once they can ride safely in their private lesson.  Group lessons are also $60.

Students must wear long pants or tights and a boot with a heel.

Otherwise, comfortable tops, layers are a smart choice and please no crop tops as they are not very practical for horse riding.

Regular lessons run weekly from the beginning of September, through until the end of June.

Students are welcome to pay in advance for a few lessons, or pay per lesson on the day of the lesson.

Payment methods include:

cash, cheque, or e-transfers

We ask students to please let us know in advance if you are going to be away.

We understand things come up, especially in the winter with weather conditions.

We ask a minimum of 6 hours notice if you cannot make your lesson or you will be charged 

$20 cancellation fee.
